Parcel Management

At the root of our solid data management system is a geographic layer capable of managing parcel data across your jurisdiction. Our optional Parcel Management tools are the cornerstone of a multi-department implementation. By tracking data at the parcel level, you can centralize licensing, health, building, emergency services, agriculture, complaints and many other services based on a common data set. Our system handles subparceling, outparceling and other types of "splits and combines" related to parcel management while preserving related data.

Address Management

As with parcel management, one of the keys to accurate data management is the capture and management of address data within your system. Permitting / Licensing

Our system is designed to streamline your entire permitting / licensing process. The system can be customized to allow an applicant to go online and apply/pay for their permit without visiting the health department. Upon receipt and approval of the application our system will print the permit along with any associated paperwork that is required. We also support bulk renewal and printing of licenses and permits across multiple programs throughout your jurisdiction. Inspection / Assessment Management

We automate the entire inspection process for all your program areas, from data-entry to printing a report on-site. Owner & Contact Management

As with centralized parcel and address management, centralized management of owners and contacts is key to a solid software solution. Our application keeps all owner and contact data in a single repository giving your staff the ability to search for existing owners or contacts rather than re-entering data over and over. Central management allows your staff to update data across multiple establishments from one location rather than trying to keep address information current across multiple records. Owner history enables you to see changes in ownership even if an establishment has been re-permitted or licensed.

Offline System Capabilities

We provide a version of the Digital Health Department for field devices, allowing inspectors to enter information and perform inspections in the field, using the browser interface with or without an internet connection. By utilizing our field application, your inspectors can capture data electronically no matter where they are. Whether online or offline, data is captured through the same web-based user interface eliminating the need to train users on multiple applications. With full offline history available to your inspectors, all of the information they need to perform quality inspections is right at their fingertips.

Complaint Management

Our solution provides a comprehensive set of complaint management tools for both front-line agents and back-office managers. Our adaptable complaint interface allows your department to handle multiple complaint types without having to change tasks and then routes complaints to the approrpriate internal staff for investigation. Our back-end reporting tools allow your management staff to ensure that SLA's are met and that complaints are addressed and assigned in a timely manner. Real-time alerting and messaging to your inspection staff means that complaints are handled more quickly with less overhead. Our application can also interface with third-party 311 systems to bridge gaps between departments with existing solutions.

Financial Management

The Digital Health Department offers a comprehensive financial package to handle all aspects of your department's billing from permit and license renewal to inspection enforcements and fines as well as miscellaneous fees and late fee management. These features can be configured to match your current financial practices and standards or can be integrated with existing financial systems. Reporting & Analysis

There is no limit to the robust reporting features available in The Digital Health Department. Our base solution includes a comprehensive suite of reports designed to keep your back-office staff informed and aware of what is going on within the department. Custom reports can be developed over and above what is included in our base package, or you can design your own reports using our report building software package. Or if you want a full-service solution, you can contact our support staff who will build and run ad-hoc reports for you as part of your maintenance agreement.

Scheduling / Inspector Assignments

Our system includes a convenient scheduling tool that allows you to assign and schedule inspections, follow-up inspections, complaints, training and other events. Inspection scheduling is customizable based on your department's rules for inspection assignment, frequency and geographic distribution. Follow-up inspections can be scheduled automatically based on rules or thresholds set in your inspection or assessment tools or based on risk factors determined at the permit / license level.

E-Mail / Fax Alerts

Our robust communication and messaging tools give your department the ability to reach establishment owners, first responders or emergency personnel at the touch of a button. This popular feature allows you to deliver information to contacts or groups of contacts all from within one comprehensive system. As an option, you can add SMS/TXT or Real-Time Voice messaging into the communication module.
